Gourmet Import Shop - first impression review - Real Italian Kitchen

Today I would like to present to you Gourmet Import Shop. This is a great website where you can buy imported international products such as Ariosto Aromi, Riso Bello (which in Italy we call Riso Gallo),  Frinsa and many others.

Their prices are very competitive, they offer free shipping and they have a great costumer service. Follow them on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, YouTube for alluring recipes for all their products.

Here's the collection of goodies they sent me to try out!

Follow me on social networks to see the video recipes I will make with all these products in the next couple of weeks.

Thank you for following the Real Italian Kitchen

SO WHAT DID I GET?

I was able to get my hands on some Black Rice (Riso Venere). Originally from China, this rice is not tinted, it was born black! It has extraordinary nutritional properties and is also considered an aphrodisiac...!
I also got some Riso Arborio, special to make
Risotto. Riso Bello is a great brand that holds pride in a rice that doesn't overcook, so it will never turn into that glue that you made last time, don't deny it, that was awful... :-)
These one the left are two products that are just marvellously organic from Chile. One is an orange blossom honey and the other is a collection of herbal teas from the Andes. Check their website for more flavors. I have already tried some of the teas and I have to say that they are very flavorful.
This is a product that was suggested to me from one of Gourmet Import Shop representatives.  It's a fruit from Chile that is supposed to taste like a mix between pear, pineapple and mango.

And last but not least some canned and jarred fish by Frinsa. The one on the left is Albacore Tune in Olive oil and the other ones are Sardines. Let me tell you how fresh the sardines are. The sardines are very fresh. Their flavor is very powerful. You should try them if you like sardines. If you don't like sardines this might be too strong for you.

Here are some video recipes I've made with Ariosto's herbs so far:
