I don't have time to cook, what can I eat?

I've been really busy with work...  so.... sandwiches and pizza have been my best friends lately :-)

I hate not being able to go to the grocery store and not being able to cook. But sometimes I'm short on free time and I have to deal with it.

So here's how I prepare:

Soups are the easiest thing to make and freeze, so I always make sure I have a couple of different home made soups in the freezer for when I'm on the go.

Sandwiches can be healthy as long as you put some veggies in them or you don't go over the top with the cheese. Here are some of my favorite combinations:

-mozzarella and ham on a fresh baguette... mmm...
-turkey, american cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, lattice NO MAYO
-chicken breast, american cheese, avocado, tabasco

Remember that spicy food helps satisfy your hunger faster, when I'm on a diet I put tabasco everywhere.

Pizza. Call it Margherita, call it Plain, it's just mozzarella, tomatoes and basil. And that's the easiest, healthiest way to go, without sacrificing good taste. In Italy I would also order a Marinara, which is just tomato sauce, garlic and hot peppers, but American pizza is not good enough for that...

So there you have it, that's what I've been eating for more or less the past 3/4 days. Those are my cheap, healthy choices for when I'm super busy and I have no time to cook.

I hope this was helpful.
